Easily monitor how many badges have been printed for each person with an automated counter built directly into their profile. When paired with Salamander’s accountability tools, the system automatically recognizes the most recently issued badge, helping prevent lost or stolen badges from being used.

Access a complete list of assigned equipment, including fixed assets and consumables, directly within the people profile for fast, effortless access to the information you need.

Dashboard
The dashboard gives users a high‑level view of people, communications, equipment, and events, with fully interactive data for quick navigation. A dedicated module highlights recently added or updated people, allowing one‑click access to their profiles. Summary counts show how many people are active, have expired qualifications or training, have expired printed TAGs, or have TAGs nearing expiration with each count clickable to instantly filter and display the relevant individuals.
The dashboard also highlights expiring and expired qualifications and trainings, making it easy to identify items that need attention.
Full Suite of Reports
Access a full suite of reports to get the information you need when you need it. Reports cover everything from contact details and assigned qualifications to issued inventory and more.
Fully Customizable Interface
Customize the interface to fit the way you work. Users can choose which information is displayed and in what order, take advantage of sorting, filtering, and search functionality, and adjust pagination to control how many records appear on each page.
All customizations are saved for the next login, and users can update the view whenever needed. The settings are unique to each signed-in user, ensuring everyone can tailor their visibility to what matters most to them.

For convenience, a color coded quick view is displayed to see status of the person and status of their TAG.
Printed Credential
Access essential credential details directly within the people profile, including the person’s TAG issued (printed) and expiration dates. Have full visibility of how many copies have been printed and have confidence that only the most recently printed TAG will appear as valid, ensuring that lost or older copies cannot be used. As information is encoded on each TAG, monitor QR code usage to support optimization efforts.
Import
Easily import and update people records using our template to ensure a smooth import process. Quickly add new people records with all required and optional profile details (location and contacts, employment, medical, etc.). Use the import process to make updates quickly and efficiently whenever profiles need to be refreshed.

Profile Detail Repository
Document key information such as basic personal, employment details, location and contact information, medical information, and any custom details.
Profile Image Capture
Capture or upload a photo to be used on the printed and digital credential, and each time the image is updated, maintain a complete, accessible history of all previous photos.
Custom Fields Capture
Custom fields, managed by account administrators, offer flexibility to capture information outside the standard people profile, ranging from simple details like shirt sizes or more specific data such as FEMA SID’s.
Medical Information Capture
Record medical details, including emergency contacts, allergies, personal and insurance details, and more, while using permission-based access to ensure privacy is maintained.
Qualifications Management
Add qualifications to a record, including certification details, issue and expiration dates, attach files, and choose to encode the qualifications in the QR code.
Training Management
Easily manage trainings for each person and keep their records up-to-date. For every training entry, include certification details, issue and expiration dates, and attach supporting documentation before choosing whether to encode it in the QR code.
Rates Capture
Document people standard rates used for event costs calculations and any standby, overtime, and / or other rates.
Historical Notes Logging
Log notes in the people profile, creating a running record that can be viewed at any time. Each note is timestamped and identifies who entered it.
Individual Profile File Storage
Keep important documents, files, and images organized and easily accessible within each person’s profile. Add key details such as start and expiration dates, descriptions, and statuses to streamline document management.
When Adding the TAG APP
See Everyone's Location & Availability in a Fully Customizable Interface
The TAG APP gives users a digital version of their TAG that functions just like the printed one. It also lets them access key details from their SalamanderLive profile, update their availability, and join events with ease. The app communicates with SalamanderLive, increasing situational awareness.
Through the app, users have access to information stored within their profile in SalamanderLive. This information includes profile and medical details, any collections they belong to, all encoded qualifications and trainings (including expired ones), and any assigned fixed assets and consumables.
The app makes it easy for users to join events which then allows management to view their location as they move from En Route to the event site on the event map in SalamanderLive.
Instead of relying on back-and-forth messages, people can keep management informed by enabling the Availability toggle. In doing so, management can view whareabouts on a map and instantly see their status (available, on duty, not available, or something else) all within SalamanderLive.

Salamander Also Creates Custom Badging
Salamander provides a wide selection of default card designs preloaded into Print Control, our proprietary printing software. If your organization requires something more specific, custom layouts can be created by Salamander or built using ID DESIGNER. For special events, we can also produce custom designs that are easily uploaded into Print Control and ready to use immediately.
